Mohammad Rafi was such a versatile singer. He sang a variety of songs for many different music directors. He sang classical
songs as well as light hearted romantic songs, funny songs and sad songs. He sang high pitched songs as well as soft lullabies.
He could make you laugh and cry with his songs with such ease. Who can really judge which was the best song he ever sang?
Everyone comes up with a different song and claims it to be the best song Mohammad Rafi ever sang. Therefore, I have picked
my favorite songs even though these may not be his best songs. I hope you will enjoy them also.

I first heard this song when one of my school teachers sang it to our class and I just loved the song and the way she sang
it. I hunted for it and finally found the original version sung by Mohammad Rafi which of course was just superb. Years later
it is still my all time favorite song. I can not explain why. All I know is that even now every time I hear this song I get
a warm fuzzy feeling. This is why I often request others to sing this particular song.
